Great place hidden away just off the busy dual carriage way ...if you go towards the metro there's an underpass takes you straight to the Restaurant also a great pub called the Carriage. Great food, looked after by the staff especially had great conversation with the owners son such a nice guy great to speak to advised on all the local goings on etc. The restaurant is in like a train carriage quirky but lovely and atmospheric lovely dining experience, food is up there with nicest I've had really nice. Overall a great evening ..thank you all xx

Unique Indian restaurant near the old Jesmond station. Exceptionally friendly staff with very prompt service. The menu is vast and the sides in particular were a standout especially the lemon rice. At first I was concerned the portions were a little small but we left almost perfectly full and payed a very reasonable price. Definitely somewhere I would recommend to anyone in town or staging in Jesmond.

There is nowhere more worthy of a clear 5* rating! Six of us ate here on Tuesday, and unfortunately as we were VERY hungry we didn’t have the sense to get pictures - but it’s a good job we were hungry! Four of us opted for the 7 Course ‘surprise’ menu and were blown away with every course... a soup, three more starters, 4 mixed curries suited to our spice tastes across the group, a mix of desserts and then a nice coffee to round out the meal. Every bite was fantastic, served upstairs in a rare quiet spot just outside the city centre with greenery and a view of the pub and station next door, and every member of staff was cheerful, helpful and welcoming! We will absolutely be returning, and will likely pick the same surprise menu to see what we get next! Can’t argue with a huge, high quality meal that works out at 45 a head

I was starving when I hit place , an Indian spot that blew me away. Forgot to take pics, but the tandoori dish was the best I’ve had in ages—packed with flavor. The place looks great, and the service was top-notch. Will be back! Highly recommend!

Wow !! what an absolute treat! Before I dive into why I highly recommend dining at The Junction, I first want to highlight just how kind and attentive the staff are. Every single person we encountered was smiley, patient, and genuinely lovely, it really added to the experience. I’ll be honest, I used to be a Chinese takeaway girly through and through. But recently, thanks to my partner, I’ve been introduced to the world of Indian cuisine, and I’m obsessed! We first visited The Junction last year, when I was still new to it all. But after trying a fair few curry houses around Newcastle, I can confidently say: the food here is unmatched. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the little touches ,like the cloth napkins and beautifully set tables, make it feel special without being over the top. If you’re debating whether to give this place a try, please take my advice and GO! You truly won’t be disappointed. Oh, and a little insider tip: ask for a fusion of the pilau rice with cashew nuts and onions. The staff created it for us because we couldn’t decide — and it was phenomenal.

Good table, efficient service even though they were very busy. We had a range of food dishes, all were very good with flavour and just about the right level of spice and heat. Quantities easily enough for 1 person per dish. Pleasant friendly busy atmosphere.

Absolutely loved our dinner date here, the train theme made us feel cosy and nostalgic. Good food and even better service, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Must try if you are looking for a special place to celebrate your date night. For dessert, the Orange Sorbet is highly recommended.
